Conducted by the Chef Paulo Ribeiro , inspired by the wood oven, there is a kitchen in clay pots inspired by the traditional recipes of Minho , where the noble products of Italian cuisine intersect with local products from Alto Minho.
At Ralenti we want to provide you with a taste experience , with the originality and quality of its ingredients, but also the best products coming directly from our local producers with whom we work daily, - or from the auction in Viana do Castelo - to introduce you to the gastronomic traditions of this very particular region.
A cuisine full of aromas , textures and flavors , but also stories and sensations: the stories of the Minho tradition and its products - the freshness of the fish, the knowledge of its meat, aromatic herbs, olives, cheeses and the famous local sweets ...
